I spent a wonderful day together with my brother and his fiance' Rhoni at the Waco Wetlands. Not much color yet....but I guess we did have a long winter.
The snow has almost gone. What a difference 24 hrs of sunshine makes. From nearly a foot of snow, to a few patches left in the shady spots. This morning a heavy fog rolled in. With my knee high rubber boots on, Weeko and I rolled out.....into the fog.....to explore it's mysteries. It was beautiful. At times the sun would break through the clouds.....and then would disappear again. Thank goodness for my rubber boots, because the longer I stood in one spot to debate the perfect shot, the deeper my boots sank into the mud. Perfect!!
I'm a wife, mom, daughter, aunt, grandma, sister, nurse and artist. I enjoy my profession and even more.....my hobbies! Photography, working in soft pastels, painting, drawing, knitting, crocheting and the list goes on. Finding a little time each day to work on something creative is one of my greater joys in life.
It also seems to help me better appreciate creation and God's attention to detail in creating us and our fine playground.
I believe that we are all creative in one way or another ..... we were created in the image of our maker.
My wish is that my art will speak to and encourage creativity in you.
