These are some great rubber boots I found the other day. Now I no longer have to wait until the roads dry up to take Weeko on a walk. Today we had a great time sliding around in the mud and walking through puddles. We didn't find much color to photograph.........just various shades of brown and gray. Most of the plants have gone to seed and the leaves have already fallen from the branches. It looks like I will have to find a new subjects to photograph this winter.

Just some shots I took today while walking my dog and then while helping my husband put up
the sign at our new church property.

Pictures taken at Dinosaur Park. The water level was high and limited our hike to one side of the river. We also visited nearby Granbury. I love it there. My husband took the last photo while I was enjoying the antique shops.

These are a couple of the shots that Willard (my sweet husband) took!
I love the first one. It's a bit grainy.......but I thought it looked so good.

We went out this evening, to the field and then to a bridge closer to the city, for shots of the
full moon. Our first surprise was that the moon was already up! (Time changed...and we didn't)
Our second surprise was...........someone moved it! We were all ready to take pictures of it coming up over the city. LOL. The moon was far to the north of the city as seen in the 3rd shot.
We did get a nice field shot and a nice one of the city lights with some of the flood waters
from the Trinity River.
Thanks to Charrie and her tip on the F16 rule, I did manage to get a nice shot of the moon.
With a crop and a bump in the saturation I was finally happy.
Next month...........we will be ready for that full moon.
Charrie, thanks for the tip!
